NCSI Breaks New Ground in Asia

Columbia, MD (23 May 2007) – The Inaugural Asia Series of Technology Expositions, produced by National Conference Services, Inc. (NCSI), concluded on 21 May 2007 at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo Japan.
This first Asia series included four on-site technology expositions in Korea and Japan at Osan Air Base, U.S. Army Garrison –Yongsan, Okinawa Military Community and Yokota Air Base.
NCSI is the first conference planning company to undertake a series of on-site events in the Far East. NCSI’s Project Manager and Director of Events, Rebecca Lyons, said “It was quite an undertaking, not knowing the land or the native languages.
With our experience launching new events and our strong relationships in the military community, I was positive that we could pull it off successfully.” Not only did the NCSI team ‘pull it off,’ but all four of the on-site events were an overwhelming value for both industry and the military.
The support was strong from high-level military personnel, who appreciated the value of the events due to the lack of opportunities to view new technologies while stationed overseas.
As a result, attendees flocked to the events to see the newest in emerging technologies related to their missions. Exhibitors were pleased to have NCSI pave the way for them in new markets. Many exhibiting companies had not yet tapped into the Far East market because they felt it was just out of reach.
Companies who were already working with the Asia installations were thankful for the series because it offered them a time-effective forum to reach out to customers (new and old) in the period of one week.
NCSI is the leader in the on-site technology expo industry for launching overseas events.
With the upcoming 11th Annual Series in Germany and five years in Italy and eight years in England under its belt, NCSI is looking forward to many more trips across the Pacific!
